Andwell Health Partners Launches Andwell Therapy Care Outpatient Services in Lewiston

Andwell Health Partners announces the opening of its new Andwell Therapy Care outpatient services, now welcoming patients at 710 Main Street in Lewiston.

This state-of-the-art facility is designed to meet the increasing demand for specialized therapy services in the greater Lewiston/Auburn area and surrounding communities.

“Our outpatient physical, occupational, and speech therapy services are aimed at meeting the critical demand for such services,” said Mary Anderson, OTD, OTR/L, CLT, SI cert., Associate Director of Outpatient Andwell Therapy Care. “Our clinic is dedicated to providing high-quality care in an environment tailored to the specific needs of our adult patients.”

The Andwell Therapy Care outpatient clinic focuses on delivering exceptional one-on-one therapy for a range of conditions, including, but not limited to:

  • Orthopedic and Neurological Rehabilitation: Targeted therapy for patients recovering from orthopedic injuries or neurological conditions.
  • Parkinson’s Disease: Utilizing the LSVT Big and Loud program to address the unique needs of Parkinson’s patients.
  • Lymphedema and Cancer Rehab: Specialized care for patients managing lymphedema and cancer.
  • Cognitive and Life Skills Retraining: Support for those requiring cognitive rehabilitation and regaining essential daily living skills.
  • Pre- and Post-Surgical Therapy: Enhancing strength before and aiding recovery after surgical procedures.
  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Spinal Cord Injury, Amputations, and Long COVID: Comprehensive care for individuals with these complex conditions.
  • Gender Affirming Voice Training: Speech therapy to support individuals in adjusting their vocal characteristics to better reflect their personal identity.

 

The clinic is particularly focused on filling gaps in service availability and addressing the needs of an aging population. “Our outpatient clinic is specifically designed for adults, especially older adults, providing them with an environment where they feel supported and understood,” Anderson added.
