Andwell Health Partners Opens Outpatient Behavioral Health and Therapy Care Clinic to Provide Central Maine with More Care Options
Lewiston, ME – October 17 – Andwell Health Partners, Maine’s largest independent non-profit organization dedicated to providing home- and community-based healthcare and care management services, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate the opening of a new location at 710 Main St. in Lewiston. This location houses an outpatient clinic that offers physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and other services.
Mary Anderson, OTD, OTR/L, CLT, Associate Director of Outpatient Therapy at Andwell Health Partners, stated, “This clinic is client-centered and evidence-based in providing interventions for those diagnosed with stroke, post-surgery rehabilitation needs, orthopedic needs, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury (TBI), and others. We provide quality therapy with a focus on the client’s goals to help maximize independence and improve quality of life.”
Behavioral Health
The facility at 710 Main Street is also home to a multi-service behavioral health clinic. Bill Robinson, LCPC, Director of Community & Behavioral Health adds, “Our new behavioral health clinic offers a comprehensive array of services, including, but not limited to outpatient mental health counseling, substance use counseling, behavioral health home integrated care coordination for adults and children, and is home to our Community Care Team. Our aim is to help people on their journey toward optimal health and wellness of mind, body, and spirit.”
