This simple but powerful idea reflects so much of what we believe at Andwell Health Partners. The care we offer today, the connections we nurture, and the services we grow are all investments in a healthier, more supported future for Mainers. Here are just a few of the ways we’re flourishing to meet the growing needs across our communities.
- Our special purpose preschool in Lewiston is expanding from two to four classrooms to meet the growing demand of early intervention and education services transforming the lives of our most vulnerable children while providing their families with support.
- We are launching Audiology services to address the unmet hearing needs of infants to seniors, recognizing that hearing is essential to daily life whether you are one or 100.
- As the need continues to grow, Andwell is expanding Mobile Wound Care designed to treat patients with complex, chronic wounds in their home wherever that might be eliminating the need to travel for critical services.
- Andwell Caregivers is expanding to meet the growing demand for in-home services to support healthy, happy and safe aging in place for older Mainers and their loved ones.
- Mainers with dementia and their caregiver will soon have a place to turn for help. Andwell’s GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) program will launch in July. This no-cost dementia care management service is designed to improve quality of life for people with dementia and their caregiver, typically a spouse or other family member, while supporting their ability to age in place.
Andwell’s impact is indeed flourishing and we couldn’t do it without you. The funding Andwell Health Partners receives through reimbursement for services only covers a portion of our costs. Families caring for loved ones with medical needs have fewer and fewer resources to turn to for help.
