Volunteers are needed for the hospice program, home visits, the Hospice House, and visits to nursing facilities. Androscoggin volunteers provide companionship to patients, respite for family members, and special requests. Androscoggin also seeks Veterans to visit with other Veterans, Reiki volunteers, Pet Therapy volunteers, Hospice Choir members, and Therapeutic Musicians, Cosmetology and Reflexology volunteers.
An application and interview are required. Ongoing training and support are provided. Volunteers are required to provide 2-4 hours of service each week for a year commitment.
